A life less ordinary

Children are always quick to point out the obvious and in my case the current quote of the moment is "it du'dent work" to translate for the lay person this means "it doesn't work Mummy and I insist that you drop everything immediately and come to my assistance" This is the favourite phrase of my darling Icy who will be 3 years old in August this year. She is younger sister to the wonderful JJ who turned 4 in May this year.

My mission is to teach my children how to resolve this type of situation for themselves as it arises. This will be a task that will dominate my life for the next decade as I am about to undertake and the complex and daunting task of carrying out the full and proper education of my two girls at home. Yes that's right, no school, no getting up in the morning putting our uniforms on, munching down a healthy breakfast before trotting happily out of the door to a full day of the normal routine, oh no not for me.

I don't know whether I'm completely bonkers or an inspirational adventurer perhaps both, I know it won't be easy, yet I am very happy with my decision to live a life less ordinary. This blog is to document my journey and keep a record of what happens along the way.
